The largest franchisee in the Xponential system, PB Metro currently operates 16 Pure Barre studios and seven CycleBar studios, with exclusive rights to continue to develop additional Pure Barre and CycleBar locations throughout its greater New York City territory.

    Pure Barre is the #1 barre concept in North America with over 550 locations. CycleBar is the largest network of Indoor Cycling studios in North America with over 200 studios open and offers an inclusive and inspiring low-impact high-intensity indoor cycling experience for all ages and body types. The franchisor of both brands is Xponential Fitness, LLC, the national leader in boutique fitness operating nine studio concepts including Pure Barre, CycleBar, Club Pilates, Row House, Stretchlab, Yoga Six, AKT, Stride, and Rumble.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the VP Finance, Development & Data Analytics with strong relationships with the Operations team, the Development and Facilities Manager oversees the on the ground aspects of PB/CB Metro’s buildout process, in addition to coordinating facilities maintenance and improvement for open locations. The Manager communicates frequently with members of the executive team and is responsible for building and maintaining inspiring PB/CB Metro studios and culture.This position is expected to travel to all current and future PB Metro CycleBar and Pure Barre studios.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSpecific responsibilities and duties of this role include the following:

    Development

    Work with VP Finance, Development and Data Analytics and Operations teams to evaluate and develop new and acquired PB/CB Metro studios

    Work with finance function and executive team to develop budgets for the build out of each studio

    Oversee the build out of new and acquired locations by engaging in regular communication with architects, contractors, and vendors

    Perform frequent site visits during buildout process

    Assist with permitting

    Coordinate ordering of all necessary materials through Xponential (lockers, desk, millwork, etc).

    Order small fixtures for studio as needed

    Ensure completion of all punch list items

    Coordinate ordering and setup of all sound systems

    Facilities Maintenance

    Oversee maintenance and improvements of existing studios, including but not limited to, quarterly HVAC maintenance, annual fire extinguisher maintenance, exterminating, sound systems, etc.

    Support GMs with ongoing maintenance issues and emergencies (ie, plumbing). While the GM is the expert in their own location, the Development and Facilities manager provides backup and expertise with ongoing issues.

    Work with vendors to optimize contract pricing

    Standardize in-studio cleaning and equipment maintenance processes

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

    Experience in a management position

    Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting

    Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, the workforce, and third party service providers

    Ability to travel to all currently opened and future openings within the PB/CB Metro portfolio, currently located in New York and Philadelphia

    Experience in business development and build outs

    Proven negotiation skills

    Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions

    Ability to inspire confidence and create trust

    Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
