    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Cypher Analytics is currently seeking junior, mid, and senior-level Business Financial Management (BFM) Consultants to provide planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) support to a U.S. Navy program office. Ideal candidates will be team players, proactive, detail orientated, and motivated self-starters.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree in financial management, accounting, statistics, or business management or equivalent experience up to 2 years' working with finances, accounting, and project analysis
    • Must have the following years of experience providing BFM support to the Navy depending on job level: Junior 1+ years, Mid 3+ years, Senior 5+ years.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
    • Must be familiar with Navy financial accounting software applications, including N-ERP and Tableau.
    • Ability to use MS Excel to do VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
    • Display a professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Extracts and analyzes data from various internal systems (e.g. N-ERP); compiles and assembles relevant information into spreadsheets/reports/presentations; presents summaries and recommendations.
    • Analyze budget/financial data and present budget recommendations to clients to aid in their preparation of budget deliverables.
    • Compile, track, and maintain Program Objective Memorandum (POM) data and documentation, to include cost models, fielding plans, and impact statements, throughout the budget cycle.
    • Assist with developing life cycle cost estimates for programs and projects to include trend analysis, variance analysis, risk management assessment reports, and business modeling to identify issues and provide guidance and recommendations to customers and management.
    • Responds to requests for ad-hoc reports and variance analysis from customers in a timely and professional manner.
