Cypher Analytics is currently seeking Configuration Management Specialists to support Navy programs throughout all stages of acquisition, systems engineering, and maintenance processes. These positions are contingent upon contract award and will be in San Diego, CA. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Security Clearance
- 5 years recent experience in performing Configuring Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Audits. Software Configuration Management experience is a plus.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informational Science, or similar areas of study.
- Experience with and understanding of supporting Navy or other DoD acquisition programs.
- Experience with CMPro (preferred) or other similar configuration or data management tools.
- Must have knowledge of Department of the Navy CM processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the Navy's configuration control process and procedures, including change initiation, analysis, and review/disposition.
- Review and implement engineering changes (e.g. RFCs, ECRs) configuration actions.
- Entry of data into CMPro or other similar database to support procurement and the reporting of status of parts across the program.
- Develops required configuration management documentation necessary to participate in configuration management IPTs and working groups.
- Maintains and manages configuration baselines. Generates technical baseline reports.
- Facilitates Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
- Support the Navy's configuration status accounting process and procedure to generate reports that define status of changes to all baselines.
