CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER – DEVOPS

Exciting opportunity to join a top Medical Device company. This role will focus on building/implementing Security best practices with a DevOps mindset. This is a high visibility role utilizing all of the bleeding edge Security & DevOps technologies and tools. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Develop and implement security controls in systems security and cloud platforms.
• Interface with development teams to create and maintain a Secure Software Development Life-cycle procedures 
• Identify potential risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in the environment.
• Coordinate with development teams to conduct product cyber security risk assessment and develop mitigation plans.
• Establishes and maintains DevSecOps automation best practices.
• Serve as a security expert and provide guidance and technical leadership to other staff members.
• Works with development and QA teams to establish and maintain unit testing tools and QA automation tools.
• Identify and address cyber security risks early.
• Oversee certification activities and participate in security audits.
• Stay engaged with the latest security technologies & tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity 
• Experience in a CI/CD environment 
• Usage of DevOps tools
• Experience with .Net, Python, Node.JS, or similar languages
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting risks with products through entire lifecycle
• Experience working with DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Experience with PowerShell, shell scripting or equivalent
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Security Certifications a plus
