    Job Description

    TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER / SCRUM MASTER, VIDEO OPERATIONS

    We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our PMO team on the Video Operations team.. Do you consider yourself a solution provider, change-agent, master of jugglers and keeper of the process for your teams? If you answered yes, this may be the role for you! Our ideal candidate keeps their eyes on the delivery goal while coaching their team across multiple groups. The candidate also has experience in live streaming operations support, knowledge of Video CMSs and video streaming technologies (such as DRM), and lead all aspects of tracking localization projects from start to finish. The role knows what it takes to run complex projects, involving multiple partners and a diverse team of collaborators.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage a Video Encoding software development team’s Kanban project, facilitating ceremonies, owning artifacts and removing impediments
    • Collaborate with the Live operations team, QA, Engineering, and various partners to prioritize and coordinate efforts to deliver on schedule
    • Track, maintain, and report on various video localization projects
    • Coach, facilitate, and maintain a steady and beneficial Agile process methodologies for the teams, driving process and transparency
    • Communicate with the business around teams velocity and projects health while supporting the PMO in reporting on all teams' status
    • Prepare and lead project plans, documentation, risk mitigation and resource management as needed for cross-team initiatives and large projects/programs
    • Resolve urgent issues and remove impediments for the team
    • Work with teams in different timezones, from USA, Canada, LaTam, Europe and Australia. Therefore needs to be flexible with your workshift schedule.
    • Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    _ YOU HAVE:_

    • Scrum Master certification with deep understanding of all things Agile (Scrum, Kanban and other methodologies)
    • 3+ years multi-project management experience in a technical (SDLC) environment
    • Experienced with video CMS, streaming technologies, live stream operations, or metadata/video localization
    • Understanding of video technology stacks, including but not limited to, ingestion, video encoding/packaging, DRM, Ad insertion, CDNs, APIs, QoS tracking
    • Deep knowledge of agile and traditional frameworks
    • Extensive experience road-mapping, planning, gantt as well as encouraging iterative processes and feedback milestones in the SDLC
    • Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub and Jenkins
    • Proficiency in tools: Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack
    • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a fast-paced creative environment
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    _ YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:_

    • SAFe Agilist certification in addition to ScrumMaster
    • Expert Admin JIRA user
    • Experience with Content Management Systems, Subscription or Membership sites, Publishing Systems, Digital Media sites development, video
    • Knowledge of advertising concepts (traditional and/or online)
    • Knowledge of responsive design experience on Mobile, Desktop and Large TV screens
    • Basic proficiency with standard development software
