BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER, PCI & FIPS

LOCATION: Chicago, IL or San Luis Obispo, CA

REMOTE FLEXIBILITY: Remote position with frequent visits to your local office as needed

REPORTS TO: Director of Security

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AND MORE ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Managing a global PCI and FIPS team of around 30 people, mostly technical staff, driving high performance of all team members and advocating for continuous improvement in all areas
• Developing, executing, and monitoring business operational strategies and action plans
• Managing a P&L, including annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly budgets 
• Leading your team to ensure financial targets (revenue, profit, enterprise value) are met, monitoring and managing revenue from operational activities
• Reporting and forecasting, workflow overviews, providing input into growth targets for customers
• Implementing and executing capacity and capability strategy, reviewing project status, managing projects, ensuring delivery, closing gaps
• Translating customer needs into operational plans to fulfill projects with the right resources
• Drives opportunities to identify new business opportunities, anticipating customer needs by creating strong partnerships with sales and business development teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong team player with exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Experience in FIPS and/or PCI (terminals)
• Passion for technology and cybersecurity (bonus points for IoT knowledge)
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global organization
• Experience partnering with internal and external customers to resolve complex problems
• Balanced in both business operations and strategy 
• Experience managing a P&L
• Experience managing global teams (direct reports)

TRAVEL: 5-10%

EDUCATION: MBA is preferred for this position
