    Here's a closer look at this key role:

    As a Sales Engineer at Cytracom you are the technical relationship specialists that will bridge any gaps between product and sales, both internally and externally. In this role you will be responsible for partner enablement goals by driving innovative technical demos and overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities. You will sell, but also provide advice and support while discovering customer needs and presenting the ideal solutions to help maximize return on investment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Pre-Sales; Solution Design; Implementation; Customer Support (end-to-end customer support)
    • Develop and maintain expert-level functional and technical understanding of all existing Cytracom services and products and pricing/payment plans
    • Create demos, technical presentations and diagrams (e.g. call flows) based on deep understanding of customer's unique needs and Cytracom's solutions
    • Acts as the technical expert to capture, document and propose Cytracom solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of channel partners and their end users.
    • Provide direct support for the technical fulfillment of RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's
    • Build and maintain good relationships in order to serve as a trusted technology influencer to Cytracom resellers.
    • Manage reseller and customer training, remote and onsite product demonstrations.
    • Partner with the Cytracom Product team stakeholders to relay feedback and influence  product roadmap.
    • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services. 
    • Represent Cytracom at conferences, industry, and sales events.
    • Partner with account managers to influence a set amount of new monthly MRR.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of sales engineering experience with a SaaS based product.
    • Strong background in LAN/WAN, firewalls and IP networks as it relates to telephony
    • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
    • Strong communication, negotiation and persuasive skills
    • Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and excel in high-growth and high-pressure environments
    • Experience working in Hubspot and/or other CRM's 
    • Experience working in Zendesk and/or other ticketing or PSA tools
    • Confident and comfortable on the phone
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a particular strength in documentation, technical demonstrations, and presentations
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
