The General Manager is responsible for oversight of all day-to-day operations of the business, to include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:
Open/close facility
Facility maintenance/cleaning
Staffing for both instructors and front desk personnel, to include hiring, discipline, scheduling, and performance management
Inventory management
Profit and loss
Marketing and advertising
Community outreach and relationship building
Event planning and execution for camps, clinics, or other special events
Business development/growth
Customer service and customer experience management
A minimum of three years of experience in a management role is preferred. "Management role" means experience overseeing business operations, having employees who report directly to you, and holding high level business responsibility for profit/loss, cost control, and general financial performance.
A strong knowledge of baseball and/or softball is required for this position. Local candidates with intimate knowledge of--and numerous points of contact in--the league and travel baseball/softball communities will be given preference.
