    Job description

    Badolina Bakery & Cafe is looking for a skilled and passionate dough & bread maker to join our team! As a full-time dough & bread maker, you will be responsible for creating baguettes, focaccia, croissant dough, challah and making and shaping our infamous sourdough that delights our customers with their delicious taste, crunchy exterior and soft interior.

    To excel in this role, you must have a willingness to follow directions and continuously learn and an interest in making bread from scratch. A positive attitude and a passion for bread making are also essential qualities we're looking for in our ideal candidate.

    Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous pastry knowledge including knowing how to operate a scale is required. If you don't have a lot of previous bread making experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.

    This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts starting at 3am or 8am. We offer a competitive salary, a supportive and inclusive work environment, and opportunities for growth and development within our company.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare a variety of breads and dough including, baguettes, focaccia, croissant dough, challah, brioche, and sourdough

    Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas

    Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is required

    Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment

    Knowledge of food safety practices

    Healt department approved food handler's certification

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment

    Strong organizational and time-management skills

    Team player with strong leadership skills

    Available for early morning shifts

    Availability to work weekends is a must!
