Summary
Work closely with data platform product management and senior leaders to realize the experience vision for the self-service data & analytics platform
• Deliver the design ideas for a unified user experience and connected interfaces to unlock end-to-end data & analytics development and publishing workflows
• Create simplicity out of complex, multi-user, multi-system workflows
• Translate end-to-end user workflows into journey maps, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, low and high-fidelity screen designs, and functioning prototypes
• Use feedback and research to refine usability and intuitiveness in working with stakeholders across a broad user base
• Work with various IT and cloud technology partner teams to enable frictionless and connected experiences across related technology platforms
• Adopt the internal UI standards
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience working with data & analytics platforms (data engineering, business intelligence, data science, data cataloging, etc.) and familiarity with the personas of practitioners in these spaces
• Mastery of with a mastery in one or more web design tools
• A passion and demonstrated customer-centric approach in building great user and developer experiences
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, independently drive toward objectives, work creatively and analytically
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
.• Ability to operate in an agile delivery framework.
• Ability to build and manage cross functional relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with public cloud platforms for big data capabilities
• Experience with Hadoop "big data" platforms
• Experience with the React UI framework
• Experience with data governance frameworks, process, roles & responsibilities
• Experience with corporate data privacy, security & compliance
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
Minimum Qualifications
College degree (preferably a graduate degree) with specialization in graphic design or data management, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of user experience design of web applications
• 2+ years of experience developing use interfaces for production web applications
