    DESCRIPTION:

    Under the direction of the Vice President of Recruiting, the ideal candidate will learn the D. Hilton Associates, Inc. methods for recruiting, interviewing, researching and presenting suitable candidates for senior exempt positions to our clients, which reside within the financial services space. Responsibilities encompass all phases of the recruiting and selection process including client support, sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates with a focus on client satisfaction and excellent long-term placements. This highly organized, personable individual will be collaborative and offer innovative and constructive ideas to continue our team's success.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS MODEL, THIS ROLE IS SALARIED WITHOUT A COMMISSION STRUCTURE. AS OUR CLIENTS AND CANDIDATES ARE NATIONWIDE AND IN VARIOUS TIME ZONES, THIS INDIVIDUAL MAY BE OCCASIONALLY ASKED TO ACCOMMODATE OUR CLIENTS’ SCHEDULES.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Develop a deep understanding of the credit union industry and structure, and keep abreast of industry conditions and trends through research and analysis

    ·         Build recruiting networks through cold calling, industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, online search tools and social media sites

    ·         Conduct research through internal databases, LinkedIn, networks and various deep web search techniques to support recruiting initiatives

    ·         Creatively organize aggressive recruiting campaigns to target passive candidates through eBlasts, cold calling, advertisements, press releases, etc.

    ·         Build and maintain a network of passive candidates; understand and implement on-going relationship management

    ·         Initiate phone screens with direct applicants, referrals, internal networks, and other interested candidates

    ·         Affirm applicant qualifications by conducting behavioral based interviewing techniques via telephone and/or video conference

    ·         Analyze responses and compare qualifications to job requirements

    ·         Confirm applicants’ experience, work history, training, education and job skills through references and background verifications

    ·         Prepare presentation materials to educate a competitive candidate about the hiring organization, and the client about a competitive candidate

    ·         Prepare qualified candidates for the interview process, and manage expectations

    ·         Act as liaison between qualified candidates and hiring managers

    ·         Manage the evaluation process and hiring decisions, execute candidate follow-up and feedback, provide guidance on compensation packages, and extend and negotiate employment offer packages

    ·         Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system timely and accurately

    ·         Prioritize, organize, and manage workload efficiently

    ·         Conduct administrative duties as needed

    ·         Perform other special projects as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·         Bachelor’s degree required

    ·         2+ years previous recruiting experience, preferably in placing executive level positions or individuals within financial services organizations. Other HR experience may be considered.

    ·         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    ·         Demonstrated skills involving attention to detail

    ·         Phone presence and proficiency in cold-calling

    ·         Knowledge of Boolean search methodology

    ·         Knowledge of linked In

    ·         Excellent organizational and project management skills

    ·         Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships

    ·         Source and attract exceptionally talented active and passive executive level candidates

    ·         Strong self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment

    ·         Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

    ·         Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

    ·
