POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Staff Physician is responsible for providing highest quality of medical care and auxiliary functions for patients. In conjunction with the nurse practitioner and/or the physician assistant, participates in developing, executing, and periodically reviewing the Clinic's written policies and services provided to Federal program patients.

80% scheduled

20% walk-ins

20-25 minutes consults

CASES:

Bread and butter, cough and cold, flu, minor suturing, diabetes etc.

SUPPORT STAFF:

Other physicians

NP's, PA's, MA's, RN's etc.
