OPERATING AREA: THIS LOCAL DRIVING JOB OPERATES WITHIN A 300 MILE RADIUS OF COMPTON CA. PAY:

• $269 average per day - activity based pay
• Top performers average $300 per day
• $50 per move (average 4-5 per day)
• Hazmat load $60
• Training Pay: $200/day
• $1,346 AVERAGE WEEKLY
• $70,000 YEARLY AVERAGE

TIME OFF / SHIFT

• Primarily Mon - Fri with an occasional Sat
• Start 1600-1800 daily (PM DRIVER)
• DRIVERS WILL ONLY WORK 50-55 HOURS PER WEEK, WITH AVG. 10-11 HOUR SHIFTS

POSITION DETAILS:

• Local position hauling containers to and from the ports in Los Angeles/Long beach to warehouses in Long Beach and Compton and vice versa.
• Drivers will drop empty or loaded containers at the 2 warehouses, as well as deliver empty or loaded containers to the ports.
• Drop and Hook
• Day cabs that cannot be taken home for time off.
• Might be asked to haul loads for other Dedicated and Intermodal accounts when freight volumes are low
