    Job Description

    · Program Engineer and Estimator Responsibilities * Design, advise, and or make work holding fixtures to machine castings. * Request metal and outside service pricing to qualified suppliers per the specifications and BOM's provided by the customer. * Extensive experience programming and machining tight tolerance castings. * Create quotes in our ERP system, JobBoss, including adding internal operations and cycle times, metal pricing, and outside services. * Create set-up instructions and tooling control/selection information to set-up person on existing equipment by analyzing drawings of parts. * Read and understand blueprints and G.D&T. (ASME Y14.5-2009 standard) * Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Google Docs. Ability to work within ERP systems. * High level working knowledge of the following machine controls: Haas, Mori-Seki, Okuma, Doosan, and Tsugami. * Work with metal and service suppliers to stay on the cutting edge of process, costs and delivery. * Identify, select, and procure appropriate cutting tools for the job specific application. * Create and edit CNC programs that support the machining of complex, tight tolerance, parts fabricated on multiple-axis CNC milling, turning and mill-turn machining centers. Program Engineer and Estimator Requirements * 4 year engineering degree * 5+ years programming * Experienced building fixtures * Experience quoting, programming, and machining castings designed by OEM's. * Ability to program and machine complex and high tolerance components * Well versed in reading blue prints * Patience and people skills * Meticulous attention to detail * Preferred: Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Esprit Ideal Candidate Self-motivated and results-driven candidate to direct and manage our quoting, programming, and first piece set up activities. The candidate can handle all activities from quoting an RFQ, to programming, to first piece set up, to machining samples. The candidate will have worked directly with their OEM customer engineers. The candidate is strong at developing internal relationships, genuinely cares about their team members, and creates an employee first environment.
