D1 Coaching Coordinator | Sports Performance
Part-Time Leadership Opportunity | D1 Training Indian Land
We’re looking for more than someone who can coach the workout on the board.
D1 Training Indian Land is looking for an experienced, motivated Coaching Coordinator who understands how athletes move, recognizes when they aren’t moving well and knows how to adjust accordingly.
This is a unique opportunity for a strong coach who wants to take the next step into coaching leadership, athlete development and program growth—while still spending time doing what they love: coaching athletes.
As Coaching Coordinator, you’ll help us raise the standard of our training floor. You’ll coach D1 sessions and personal-training clients while also working with our GM to support coach development, athlete assessments and the overall quality and consistency of our training experience.

Support midpoint and final performance testing
Identify opportunities for additional athlete development and personal training
Help Grow Our Performance Community
Identify opportunities with local sports teams, clubs and organizations
Help develop team-training programs and specialty clinics
Build relationships with athletes, parents, coaches and community partners
Bring ideas to the table—we want someone who sees opportunities and knows how to turn them into action
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time, hourly + performance-based position designed to reward both coaching and growth.
$25/hour for D1 group coaching sessions
$15/hour for Coordinator/administrative responsibilities, up to approximately 10 hours per week
30% commission on qualifying Personal Training renewals
30% of collected revenue from new team-training programs or specialty clinics you originate and help bring to life
Additional opportunities to grow earnings as D1 Indian Land grows
The more value you create for our athletes and our facility, the greater your opportunity to earn.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You may be a great fit if you:
Have experience coaching youth athletes and/or adults
Have a strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and movement mechanics
Can identify movement limitations and confidently provide regressions, progressions and alternatives
Understand strength, speed, agility and athletic-performance training
Are comfortable providing feedback and helping other coaches improve
Bring energy and presence to the training floor
Are organized, dependable and proactive
Enjoy building relationships with athletes and parents
Think beyond your own coaching sessions and look for ways to improve the entire training experience
Want an opportunity to grow as a leader without spending your entire day behind a desk
A nationally recognized personal-training or strength-and-conditioning certification is strongly preferred. CPR/AED certification is required or must be obtained.
