    THIS IS NOT an entry level position. This "Strength & Conditioning Coach" should have the ability to step in on day 1 and work with any client we throw at them. Whether it is Tim Tebow, a professional sports bound college athlete, a 40 year old mother trying to get fit, or a 7 year old athlete training for the first time…this coach should live for stepping on the turf & helping these athletes accomplish their goals.

    Key Skills Required For Position:

    CHARACTER. This coach must have world class character & align with our core values. Here at D1 Training HQ we work hard & play hard. You must show up every single day ready to have fun with high energy. If you don’t bring the juice, or are up & down day to day, you won’t make it on this high performance team.

    COACH. This coach should be able to step in on day 1 & work with anyone. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults. We have 100+ one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old to currently playing in the NFL. You can’t have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.

    Job Summary

    Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.

    Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.

    Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.

    Teach

    A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:

    Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service

    Starting and finishing workouts on time

    Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program

    Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member

    Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams

    Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition

    Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe

    Responsibilities

    Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.

    Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.

    Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.

    Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.

    Qualifications

    Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification

    Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.

    Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.

    Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
