Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with a strong working knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics products). In this role, you will deliver high-quality consulting services specializing in the Heavy Equipment Sales and Rental industry. Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Support Leadership: Lead customers independently through the full lifecycle of ERP upgrades and implementations, providing critical on-site support during go-live periods and post-implementation phases.
Requirements & Design: Partner with clients to assess, understand, and document functional requirements; actively contribute to the creation of Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), solution designs, and related test designs.
Consulting & Training: Facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and solution demonstrations (both remotely and on-site), while mentoring junior colleagues throughout the consulting process.
Process Optimization: Maintain an end-to-end understanding of functional processes to identify bottlenecks, resolve complex system issues, and suggest continuous improvements across the implementation lifecycle.
Project Management: Manage project timelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure milestones are met in accordance with the project plan.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
Experience: Proven working experience in business solutions, including hands-on experience with ERP implementations either on the customer side or as an implementation partner.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, strong presentation and demonstration capabilities, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Teamwork & Mobility: Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional, global teams and a willingness to travel (40–60%).
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Ecosystem: Strong experience with Microsoft AX2012, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a significant advantage.
Industry Expertise: Prior consulting or operational experience within the heavy equipment sales and rental industry.
Leadership: Demonstrated team leadership skills and a track record of guiding junior team members.
