Job Description:

We are looking for a talented, Junior to Mid-level Database Administrator/Developer with strong software and database administration and development skills to join our fast-paced agile team. As a valued team member, you can use your diverse skillset to develop and deploy scripts and support management activities.

Location: Crystal City - Hybrid (twice per month onsite/as needed)

Responsibilities:

Mid-level DBA/developer that has a solid knowledge of PL/SQL and can provide database support for the PB applications along with a good background on DB administration related tasks.

Ability to troubleshoot common database problems and can assist in handling application related issues.

Expertise in Oracle database performance, integrity, and security

Experience in writing Oracle Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Views, Indexes, Constraints, Sequences.

Ability to create or modify database scripts to support the applications.

Should be able to multi-task with minimal supervision so we can offload some of the tasks from the senior developers and lead DBA.

Knowledge on CICD tools like Gitlab, Nexus and Jenkins are a plus

Experience driving data quality and providing production support.

Knowledge of best practices for database storage management, high availability, and data replication

Can think out of the box to help with troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions that fit customers’ needs.

The candidate should be open to coming to the Crystal City office twice a month or as needed

Requirements:

Must have a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.

MUST HAVE Active/Interim DoD SECRET Clearance.

Must have a minimum of 4 years of Database Development experience.

Must have a minimum of 4 years of Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL experience.

Experience with PowerBuilder is a plus but not required.

Requires sitting for long periods in front of a computer.
