    We are looking for an experienced Tier III Application Support Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a senior member of our team, you will provide support to internal and external customers by troubleshooting various applications. You will research, track, and resolve complex issues that tier 1, and tier II technicians have been unable to resolve.

    Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid; twice per month on-site)

    Job Type: Full Time

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

    Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience providing Tier III help desk support.

    Clearance: Must hold Active DoD Secret Clearance or Active Interim Secret Security Clearance

    Responsibilities

    A production support team member is responsible for monitoring the production applications, scheduled jobs, incident management, and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analyzing these, and either responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to the other IT teams and development teams.

    Must have problem-solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes; this applies to both technical issues and process issues.

    Good communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to discuss issues with users and other team members.

    Assist in creating Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for other groups to help with their knowledge of the application and help decrease the time needed to resolve issues.

    Experience with SQL (Oracle or Microsoft) and Toad

    Write and execute SQL queries and analyze tables, grants, functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.

    Perform backend data modifications using SQL

    Requirements

    Must have an Active DOD Secret Clearance

    Must have experience with .NET, Java, and Oracle Database projects and applications.

    Must have SQL, Service Now, Remedy, CLM, jQuery and SharePoint experience.

    Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

    Must have SQL Script writing experience

    Must have .NET, Oracle, and Java database experience

    Minimum of 4+ Years of experience as a Tier III Application Support Help Desk Technician

    Excellent Analytical, customer service, and communication skills
