DAO is expanding our development team and looking for eager, creative and collaborative developers with a focus on continued learning and improving our capabilities as a team. We're looking for versatile, full-stack developers with experience in the tools and languages we use.

We primarily develop mobile and web, multi-client, business applications in an agile development environment. We adopt modern team development practices and use technologies such as SQL Server, Entity Framework, .NET Web API, Xamarin, TypeScript, and frameworks like Aurelia. Experience with these particular technologies is not required for the position but a familiarity with them and experience in related technologies is necessary.

Our Virginia Beach office is home to most of our staff including Support, IT, and a computer repair depot.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of development experience
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Experience with Web APIs
• Experience or familiarity with front-end MVC/MVVM patterns
• Experience with a JavaScript Framework
• Experience with a responsive UI component library
• Experience with version control such as SVN, GIT, or TF
• Ability to contribute to complex, business-type applications
