JOB PURPOSE:

An Electrical Engineer contributes to the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Performs a variety of engineering work in conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping of electric or electronic components.

2. Assists in the development of system and hardware specifications needed to complete electrical engineering tasks.

3. Is familiar with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electrical systems.

4. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.

5. Schematic creation and design along with PCBA Layout and design

6. PCBA bring up and debug in the development process.

7. PCBA and system testing development in Labview

8. Interfaces with external customers or vendors regarding technical and design issues.

9. Component selection, schematic development, circuit board layout and systems bring up and debug through product finalization.

10. Design Validation Test, Factory Test development and Test integration with LabVIEW.

11. Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis, and statements.

What You Need for this Position: B.S., M.S. or Ph. D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
