HOURS: 6:00AM-6:15PM
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for operating raw dough, machining equipment, packaging equipment, ovens, and equipment for icing and topping application.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows established production schedule.
- Mixing icing and adjusts machine to correctly apply icing.
- Operation of all types of machines in production areas.
- Operates oil/seasoning topping equipment.
- Makes adjustment to equipment to produce product that meets quality standards.
- Builds pallets per written instructions.
- Prepares dough following standard mixing procedures.
- Performs QC tests as required.
- Maintains all documentation of production process.
- Cleans equipment as required.
- Ensures all plant equipment is clean and safe for production.
- Ensures compliance with all plant standard operating procedures.
- Keeps area clean and maintains 5S program.
- Makes suggestions and participates in process improvement teams.
- Uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma preferred.
- Three to five years work experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-department teams.
- Comfortable in the use of a computer.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to work overtime as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position works in oven and icing / topping area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift and twist up to 50 pounds several times throughout the shift.
