    Job Description

    DAS is looking for a competent Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. The SCC will be responsible to coordinate with suppliers, customers and DAS personnel to achieve the effective distribution of DAS raw materials and finished goods. The SCC is expected to have excellent communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply chain management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record keeping abilities and a customer centric approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Reviews and monitors inventory transactions in ERP system. Ensures raw and finished goods inventories are accurate. · Work closely with counterparts in the Dominican Republic to facilitate northbound and southbound container shipments · Manage logistics suppliers and negotiate contracts · Performs audits of accuracy and packaging of outgoing shipments. · Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. · Schedules customer deliveries using company trucks, common carriers and/or LTL delivery services as directed by customer's residence. · Oversees Inventory management. · Ensures materials issues and receipts are completed on a timely basis. · Ensures shipping transactions are accurate and timely · Checks "prior days" shipping transactions for accuracy. · Manages monthly and quarterly physical inventories, working with purchasing group to reconcile inventory. · Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
