    ESTIMATOR/FIELD SUPERVISOR MULTIPLE TRADES

    IMMEDIATE OPENINGS COMPETATIVE PAY!!!

    We are an established, well respected Orange County general, electrical and HVAC contractors, in business since 1994 Holding a B, C-19 & C20 licenses. We work with most of the large apartment community management firms. Sample scope of work includes everything from small repairs to office/clubhouse remodels, ground up commercial buildings, and everything in between. We cover all trades with a reputation for quality work at competitive prices.

    Qualifications/Skills: -- Requires knowledge of multi-family housing, commercial and residential construction, all trades. Estimating, able to bid and work form blueprints, verbal communication, project management, planning, production planning, quality monitoring and management. -- Minimum 5 years of experience. -- Must have your own truck and tools, valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Job Description: Preparing estimates, ordering materials and managing field crews. Working in the office: Drafting bids, following up on estimates and bringing in new business. Working on job sites as needed. Job sites are in Orange County and parts of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Diego counties.

    MUST HAVE A STRONG CONSTRUCTION BACK GROUND IN MULTI-TRADE AREAS, LEADERSHIP SKILLS, ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, BLUEPRINTS AND ESTIMATING.

    Duties: -- Accomplish work requirements by training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; supervising sub-contractors. -- Meet construction work standards by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements. -- Meet construction budget by preparing estimates; monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.

    --Meets construction deadlines and stay within budget.

    --Able to read plans/blueprints, write up estimates based on plans, order materials and supervise the job. -- Plan construction projects by studying blueprints; ordering and scheduling materials and equipment. -- Monitor construction projects by confirming instructions for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete, painting and related trades; conducting inspections; issuing change orders; approving work. -- Prevent fine and interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes. -- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. -- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; bench marking state-of-the-art practices. -- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    --Meets construction work standards by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving operational problems, identifying work process improvements.
