D’AMBRA IS CURRENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT ENGINEER IN THE HOUSTON AREA TO ASSIST WITH ITS MULTIPLE PROJECTS THROUGHOUT TEXAS. CANDIDATE WILL BE ASSIGNED 2 TO 3 PROJECTS UNDER A PROJECT MANAGER. YOU WILL SCHEDULE, PLAN, FORECAST, RESOURCE AND MANAGE ALL THE TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES AIMING AT ASSURING PROJECT ACCURACY AND QUALITY FROM CONCEPTION TO COMPLETION. D’Ambra is a specialty sub-contractor specializing in reinforcing steel. We have been in business for over 20 years building over 300 buildings in this time. The position will include training helping the candidate be prepared for all aspects that the position can entail. • Assist Project Manager as deemed necessary to accomplish a successful project.
• Document Control such as RFI’s, coordinating drawings, submittals, etc.
• Coordinate deliveries from suppliers to job sites following contract schedule.
• Project job site visits as well as sub-contractor meetings.
• Troubleshooting issues with detailing (contract drawings vs. detailed drawings).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend structural drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Time Management Skills.
• MS Office Proficient is a must (Excel and Outlook mostly)
• Safety knowledge is a plus.
• Building Construction experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
