DBI is recruiting for a Job Captain – Hospitality.Our new Hospitality client is in the San Francisco area.Joining this global design firm, the candidate will balance shell work and well as interiors and roll-out. The right candidate will need to be able to manage several teams handling multiple projects of varying size and scope. 

This role will focus on documentation with a strong eye on design.The firm is working in AutoCAD and in Revit. The right candidate will also be comfortable with code compliance, ADA, as well as other interior architecture elements.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Participate with the Project Manager in consultation with the client to establish project goals and objectives including, but not limited to design intent, schedule and budget parameters
• Work with established conceptual design direction as a response to the program requirements and client’s goals and objectives
• Develop and produce full construction document sets
• Review construction documents and specifications to ensure that the design intent is being compliant and maintained
• Conduct client presentations and communicate with consultants and vendors throughout the project
• Inspire innovative solutions to emerging design trends and workplace trends 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work self-directed with a sense of curiosity
• Proven success in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in a team environment
