Working in the San Francisco, and broader California and West Coast, DBI new client is defining interior for the next generation of high-net-worth interiors. This outstanding residential design firm is working with DBI to find a world class Senior Interior Designer. Designing for all aspects of the project the right candidate will be creative, curious, friendly, and driven.

This role will lead with design, living and breathing the design and ideation process. This role is responsible for development, implementation, and the whole of the creation process for projects of all sizes. Coordination with the owner, this role will promote and define concepts through the schematic, design development, and construction process.

Required Work Experience:

• Leading the design and ideation process with little supervision
• Experience in the selection of finishes and furnishings
• Ownership of project material selection costs and specification
• FF&E and finish specifications
• Oversee, review, and approve RFI’s and shop drawings, ensuring continuity and consistency of design deliverables
• Establish and maintain ongoing, positive, and productive client relationships
• Prepare project timeline schedules
• Ability to manage multiple priorities AND achieve high standards and goals

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 7+ years of high-end residential design experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
• NCIDQ and LEEP AD are preferred
• AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Sketch-Up, Microsoft
• Hand sketching
• Strong presentation skills
• Must bring a strong understanding of color, pattern, texture, and space
