    DBI is working with a preeminent California firm to hire a Senior Project Manager.  Our client solves design problems for today and tomorrow, creating adaptable, usable spaces. With a multidisciplinary approach to California, our client provides projects that are well design, well delivered and truly meaningful.

    Out client is hiring a Senior Project Manager with Healthcare experience to be located in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

    This role will oversee the documentation and coordination for projects through all aspects of development. The right candidate will drive design development, production of working drawings, and construction documents. Other duties will include establishing and maintaining budgets, schedules, and contract terms and will manage a small team of Project Architects.

     

    Required Work Experience:

    · Strong ability to listen and communicate effectively

    · Must have a background establishing productive working relationships and deal effectively and cooperatively with, team members, consultants, and government agencies

    · Willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision-making process; make timely decisions

    · Collaborate with appropriate staff to meet goals and objectives of project

    · Comfortable being the technical resource to entire studio

    · A deep understanding of all aspects of technical documentation

    · Knowledge of writing and negotiating contracts, fees, and RFP's

    · An understanding of how to review and resolves any issues related to staff and consultants, be a leader

    · Ensure that technical staff support design and follow design intent on all projects

     

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    · Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice and in management of projects desired

    · Strong Revit and BIM experience

    · A degree from an accredited university in architecture

    · Professionally communicate both verbally and in writing

    · Must have exposure and understanding of OSHPD

    · Ability to delegate assignments to support staff

    · Supervise multiple project architects for all phases of projects
