    DBI is working with a very successful and growing Construction firm in Spokane, Washington to hire a Marketing Director for the organization. This role is an integral part of the team, making the firm’s overall marketing strategy work.

    The Marketing Director will manage all marketing activities across the firm. This will including working with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategies and developing and producing all responses for Request for Qualifications (RFQ’s) and Request for Proposals (RFP’s). The ideal candidate will be thoughtful, inquisitive, energetic, a constant learner, and committed to the ideals of the firm.

    Required Experience:

    • Work with our leadership team to develop and implement overall strategic marketing objectives.
    • Support our business development efforts with market research, analyzing market trends, and identifying project leads.
    • Lead the proposal development and production process from RFQ and RFP receipt to submission, helping to identify a win-strategy for each pursuit.
    • Provide guidance and support to other RFP team members.
    • Lead/assist with interview preparation and create supporting documentation (PPT, presentation boards, etc.).
    • Maintain and update a library of RFP documents, including resumes, project lists, technical content, client references, etc.
    • Help us strengthen the perception of our company with current and prospective clients.
    • Prepare external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and other collateral information.
    • Manage and lead the company social media platform while establishing a strong brand voice and strategy.
    • Develop and conduct internal marketing efforts to engage team members.
    • Administer the company website including project and team member updates, news, etc.
    • Ensure consistent application of company branding standards and messaging.

     Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or other relevant degree
    • 5 years minimum demonstrated experience writing, editing, developing, and producing proposals
    • A/E/C industry experience preferred
    • Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and standard business software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
    • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Team-oriented, collaborative, resourceful, and positive attitude
    • Excellent interpersonal and creative skills
    • Ability to maintain focus on goals, combined with the flexibility to pivot when necessary
    • A self-starter, results-oriented individual
