The firm that defined the term residential hospitality then grew that to redefine what a life-style brand can mean is searching for an Industrial/Product Designer to join their office in Los Angeles.

This firm is THE creative hospitality and lifestyle brand. The Senior Designer will have responsibilities that including oversight of the overall luxury brand development, furniture design, lighting design, objects, and custom-made items.

This position will be designing and producing work every day.The candidate will be active in all aspects of the design process.

Required Work Experience:

• Meet all product development related deadlines
• Hand sketch
• Developing detailed drawings for products in AutoCAD, utilizing Sketchup, Rhino, Podium for 3D renderings of products
• Coordinate with Interiors department on their furniture and product development related projects
• Ownership of vendor correspondence, assisting with logistics pertaining to product development and production
• Ability to execute quality control inspections with a critical eye.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years in high-end product development
• Expertise in AutoCAD
• Strong hand-sketching skills.
• Understanding of construction and materiality
• Hands on furniture making experience a plus
• Excellent knowledge of luxury, high-end furniture and product design
