    Job Title: Embedded Application Software Engineer Location: Peoria, IL

    Job Description:

    In this role candidate will be responsible to: • Develop code, configures, and tests programs and systems • Evaluate and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications. • Analyze assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives. • Execute necessary documentation, as directed, or needed. • Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prototype, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack features, services, and microservices • Hands on experience in JAVA J2EE, Scala, C#, Python in the design, development, testing • Experience in front end technologies such as JavaScript, React JS, Node JS , Redux, CSS, HTML5 • Experience using web services (REST APIs, SOAP, APIs) • Experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS/Azure • Experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration • Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment • Experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery • Experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks • Knowledge in database SQL, MangoDB • Managing and building distributed applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Flink, Spark)

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

    Desired Qualifications: • Knowledge on AGILE SCRUM methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
