Job Title: Contract Specialist (LTA Focal)- Aerospace Industry Location: Windsor Locks, Connecticut

Job Description:

Leading data-driven contract management practices to optimize cost, quality, and delivery

Managing cross-functional teams through complex RFP processes

Implementing change management strategies across business units

Building and sustaining win-win partnerships with suppliers

Ensuring adherence to exacting aerospace quality standards and cost targets

Conduct day-to-day contract administration

Negotiate and manage long term agreements adhering to company policies

Analyze terms and conditions, interpret requirements

Ensure contract compliance

Prepare teaming agreements and contractual documents

Support management reviews and program reviews

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline

3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management

Expertise analyzing contracts and managing negotiations

Data analysis, modeling, and benchmarking skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

High degree of ethics, integrity, and attention to detail

SAP Experience is a must

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365

Must be a US Citizen/US Person

Preferred Qualifications:

Six Sigma trained, Green Belt or Black Belt

3-5 years of experience within aerospace industry

Prior experience optimizing LTAs or outsourcing contracts

Change management expertise

Knowledge of FAR and DFARS

Experience with different contract types

An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision
