Must Have: Bachelor's Degree 2 years minimum experience working in Chassis – Braking experience preferable. Solid fundamental knowledge of chassis design, modeling GD&T, Clash analysis, 2D Drawing development, Assembly drawings, DVP Experience using CAD System (preference CATIA) Attention to detail Ground up design experience in stampings, cast products Responsibilities: Design and implement Braking and Steering components, integrating with chassis component systems from concept to production. DRE role will require ability to discuss, understand and meet attributes requirements with internal stakeholders. Offer solutions to issues, ability to design countermeasures in CAD Create and develop engineering specification packages that effectively communicate to internal and external partners to ensure products meet given project parameters. Project Management of Braking component development & validation Complete and release Braking components including service kit and/or assembly documentation, including 2D drawings Manage designed parts in the virtual environment and support virtual build and release activities. Develop collaborative relationships with Braking component suppliers and manage them to deliver projects on time and to specification.
