Title - Services Engineering Manager

Client – Irvine, California (onsite only)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or related field with minimum 8-12+ years of work experience or Master’s degree in engineering discipline or related field with 6+ years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 5+ years of experience in a New Product\Program Development position, solely responsible for a specific organization\program driving requirements thru development, to validation, to production release. • Have high level understanding of software programming languages, communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, Wi-Fi, satellite, cellular), and distributed content delivery systems. • 2 Years’ experience within a Quality Control\Assurance Role analyzing Trends, determining Root Causes and implementation of Corrective/Preventive Actions is a plus. • May need to travel on an on needed basis, maybe every 6-months, no longer than five business days at a time. • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the Thales culture, that is, exhibit the values of Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility and Teamwork. • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. • Have strong technical writing skills. • Experience and\or Knowledge of Reliability Engineering principles and deliverables such as MTBF, FMEA, and FTA. • Have intermediate Excel experience with formula, data structure, and data manipulation. • Be results oriented, working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge and Hands-on experience with networking type equipment is a plus • Knowledge and Hands-on experience with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Android) is a plus • Experience and\or Knowledge of FAA, EASA, ARINC Regulations and Rules is a plus • Experience and\or Knowledge of with FAA Part 145 Maintenance and Repair process flows is a plus • Experience and\or Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) is a plus • Experience and\or Knowledge of MSG-3 (Maintenance Steering Group), and EASA Part M is a plus
