Job Title: Automation Engineer
Job Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Budget – 90 K per year as FTE or 50 to 55 USD per hour on C2C
Job Description:
· 5 to 7 years relevant experience (kindly DO NOT share junior CVs)
· Programming experience in Industrial Control Automation.
· Program PLC (Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000) & HMI (FTView SE/ME, Wonderware HMI).
· Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI hardware selection, and configuration of control systems.
· Complete all programming projects (control logic, HMI screens, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.
· Deep knowledge of FTView SE/ME, and Wonderware application development.
· Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk, and Wonderware HMI software.
· Experience with Communication networks like Serial, Modbus, and Ethernet.
· Experience in VFDs control programming, preferably in Rockwell Power flex series.
· Deep knowledge of Add-on Instructions (AOIs), Global Object, and Faceplate Creation.
· Experience in upgrading and downgrading of firmware of PLCs, HMIs, and Control Devices.
· Independent ability in Start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities, Conduct VAT at OEMs location.
· Assist with on-site start-up and troubleshooting for the projects.
· Proactively coordinate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients.
· Coordinate with various vendors and site construction teams for completion of the programming.
· Ability to prepare documentation such as User Required Document (URD), Functional Design Specification (FDS), Design basis, Change Logs, and engineering Information.
· Familiarity with power & controls wiring.
· Familiarity with on/Off & Control valves, Flow, Pressure & temperature transmitters.
· Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic.
· Ability to read and interpret PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives, and P&ID Drawings.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.
· Ready to adapt the onsite/offshore work model.
