Job Description

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician / Assistant to join our one doctor clinic. The ideal veterinary technician must be confident in all aspects of basic and advanced animal care, including but now limited to animal restraint, taking radiographs, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, running diagnostic lab tests, monitoring anesthesia, administering medication sand phlebotomy.

SCHEDULE: PART-TIME, MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience highly preferred but not required.
• Bilingual, a plus.
• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) highly preferred.
• Professional appearance required; scrubs are to be worn at all times.
• Required to be at work when scheduled and be timely.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Work well independently and in a group.
