    DCC Automation and Dairy Conveyor Corporation have been designing and building conveyors and material handling equipment since 1954. If you ever drank milk from a carton as a child, there’s a good chance that carton passed through one of our systems!

    “WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?”

    We are currently in South St Paul, but we are relocating to a brand-new facility in Inver Grove Heights, where you will be working in an office environment for a company which cultivated the “work/life balance” concept decades before it became a catchphrase.

    “WHAT ROLE DO YOU WISH TO FILL?”

    We are looking to hire our first Inside Sales Administrative Assistant (we are growing!). While reporting directly to our Facility Manager, you will become a highly-valued assistant for three departments – Sales, Purchasing, and Shipping. Boredom will never be on your schedule!

    “WHAT WOULD I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK?”

    • Assisted Sales staff with creating sales orders for our customers
    • Set up new part numbers in our system
    • Investigated/resolved order and invoice discrepancies
    • Assisted Shipping with inventory cycle counts and physical inventory maintenance
    • Checked in with manufacturers regarding delays in shipments
    • Responded to customer inquiries
    • Assisted Purchasing with purchase order creation and vendor queries
    • Coordinated product returns and ensured proper credits received

    • If awards were given for data entry skills, would you be nominated every year?
    • Are your organizational skills and attention to detail the envy of all your friends?
    • Do you derive satisfaction from knowing you make your colleagues’ days easier, since you know what to do and how and when to do it?

    If you have two+ years administrative support experience - with an emphasis on highly accurate and efficient data entry – including working collaboratively with multiple departments, we want to meet you!

    The position requires proficient Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, the ability to learn new software, and ease in using standard office equipment (bonus points if you are a pro at resolving paper jams in the copier!). This is not a position where you are given daily direction and a ‘to-do’ list, so you must be proactive, self-motivated, and work well independently, while contributing to and appreciating a positive, upbeat work environment.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
