You are a Graphic Storyteller. You have a unique blend of skills that is part facilitator part narrator of the visual arts. Adept at understanding the customer and their needs you blend your empathic intuition with a keen visual eye to compose amazing presentations and visual stories of requirements, capabilities, and solutions approaches. With a constant eye towards the plot line, you know how to advance the customers journey and help them stay on track while blending complex topics. This facilitation skill has suited you well as you a project manager in your own right, help the team, the customer, and the stakeholders stay on track with information. DDAO is looking for a Business Analyst who has a knack for graphic arts and design. This unique combination of applied Design thinking and the ability to represent complex topics in simple graphic forms is critical to the needs of the team. In this role you will support the overall contract team in capturing and documenting requirements, creating visual ads, assisting with project management and meeting facilitation activities. You will help the government in managing a shared service environment and customer efforts to define, implement and manage communications strategies. A successful Business Analyst has familiarity with business process reengineering methodologies and demonstrates the ability to quickly develop a working understanding of the applicable service technologies, operating systems, and licensing structures. What Will You Do? Create high-level briefings, newsletters and communications materials for customers, management, and executive stakeholders Assist in the creation and implementation of communications plans and support system documentation. Utilize strong communication skills and use a range of methods to conduct interviews, develop and present issues, and draft written reports of findings and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program administration and operations Assist in defining how information systems may be upgraded or replaced Conduct trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements Develop team procedures, manuals and other documentation for information systems Must Haves 3 to 4 years of experience composing, and analyzing process diagrams business processes Outstanding leadership skills and both written and verbal communication skills. The ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership andor Government Executives and staff on a day-to-day basis. The ability to be flexible in a fluid work environment, being a team player that can adjust tactical plans while keeping the group headed toward the strategic goal is key Must be a with the ability to qualify for and obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Nice to Haves Experience with IT Service Management and enterprise level IT Systems migrations Familiarity with or interest in Agile Methodologies Knowledge of Atlassian toolsets (Confluence, JIRA, etc.) Experience in Federal Contracting Attributes of a Future DDAO Team Member A thirst and passion for continuous learning Trust and authenticity in yourself and your team Courage to challenge the norm and speak your mind Ability to think strategically and take action quickly Possess content authority over your domain Able to translate complex ideas into plain language Have strong technical foundation Leverage good business sense Must have the ability to see and do the next obvious thing Location Washington, DC How do I apply?
