    JOB SUMMARY:

    The primary role of the Test Engineer is to assist with DDL growth activities by completing test method development and ensuring technical feasibility of proposed projects. A Test Engineer collaborates with various departments to ensure a seamless rollout of new Standard and or Test Method.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Write, review, and edit technical documents including protocols, standard operating procedures, and test methods.
    • Design, coordinate creation, and qualification of test fixtures for testing. 
    • Training:
      • Work with Technical Trainer to implement training at designated site
      • Train Project Managers and Technicians on new or revised standards and/or methods

       

    • Review new standards for feasibility of implementation for new service offerings 
    • Collaborate with Operations and Quality for equipment qualification, research and training. 
    • Sales support with:
      • Customer calls
      • Review of quotes for accuracy and technical capability
      • Establishing pricing for new and custom tests

       

    • Perform research to get additional sites setup and operational.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences.  Engineering Physics or Mechanical Engineering degrees preferred.
    • 5 + years of experience in a lab environment or engineering role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PP, Outlook, Excel) and SolidWorks. Understanding of ISO11040, ISO 11608, and Electrodynamic Shaker Systems a plus.
