Professional, family-owned Plumbing Subcontractor with operations in the South Bay is seeking an Office Assistant to help us keep our busy Redondo Beach office running smoothly. Experience working in the construction industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of plumbing materials and services a big plus! Duties and Responsibilities: - Answer phones, take plumbing service calls, coordinate scheduling - Gather employee day sheets to be reviewed and entered in QuickBooks - General administrative duties such as data entry and filing - Material pricing and ordering from current and new vendors T-Sheets coordination - Maintain insurance policies Entering bills, construction bids, estimates, client set up in QuickBooks desktop - QB-T-Sheets coordination, daily schedule management of field employees - Prepare job proposals, change orders and other documents as directed - Order materials when directed - Any miscellaneous tasks requested of office management - Enter bills, construction bids, estimates, client set up in QuickBooks desktop Job Qualifications: - Friendly, positive, passionate, "customer first" attitude with a high level of professionalism and humor - Outstanding written and oral communication skills - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail - Skilled with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook - QuickBooks - Bookkeeping experience - Readiness to troubleshoot and problem solve - Willingness to pitch in to help others when needed - Bilingual / Spanish a huge plus Job Type: Full time - Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: - Microsoft Office: 2 years (Required) - Customer Service: 2 years (Required) - QuickBooks: 2 year (Required) - QB Timesheets: 2 year (Preferred) Benefits: Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: Redondo Beach, CA 90278: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
