    Job Description

    We’re currently looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of E-Commerce to lead our online DTC channel (decathlon.com) and unlock our next phase of growth in the USA. This role will report into our CMO and e-commerce Lead. The ideal candidate is a team player and world-class operator, with solid experience managing an e-commerce business. 

    In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end and day-to-day DTC e-com channel, owning the customer front end and P&L.

    In this role you will: 

    • Own the delivery of our DTC sales and profit goals 

    • Own the end-to-end experience of our DTC channel 

    • Define, build the business case and launch new experiences delivering against customer needs.  

    • Forecast and measure your channel performance and adjust your priorities where necessary.

    • Partner closely with our Offer (Selection, Price, Promo), In-stock, Warehouse, Tech, Growth/Brand Marketing, Finance, and Data analyst teams to deliver against your vision of the experience and business goals.

    • Build, manage, and mentor a team in a remote and hybrid environment, including Product Managers, Program Managers, Webmerchandisers. 

    • Establish the right processes for your team and cross functional partners to execute and optimize flawlessly and efficiently.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.

    • 10+ years managing a multi-million-dollar e-commerce business.

    • 5+ years experience leading a team. 

    • Proven track record of managing and exceeding e-commerce revenue targets.

    • Strong knowledge of eCommerce KPIs and experience with Data and analysis in order to bring a data-driven approach to decision-making and prioritization of resources.

    • Experience operating both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, and fast-growth companies.

    • Team-oriented with the ability to interact with partners across the organization at all levels; ability to negotiate and influence peers and members of a cross-functional team

    • Dynamic and creative leader with both excellent business acumen and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills with a roll up your sleeves and can-do attitude.

    • Experience working in the sports and outdoor industry is a plus. 

    • Experience working directly in Shopify and Google Analytics is a plus.
