Ent's Chief Marketing Officer is a key senior executive who focuses on insights-driven member acquisition and retention plans, aligns Ent's culture with Ent's brand, develops revenue-generating and growth strategies, and leads a highly effective and operationally excellent team. By leading brand and related growth strategies, communication strategy, product marketing, marketing operations and fulfillment, campaign channels and management system(s), public relations, and return-on-investment metrics, this visionary, strategic, and agile leader is a cornerstone player in driving Ent's growth. This leader is also one of the primary collaborators in developing emerging strategies to serve the financially vulnerable and innovating products for Ent's expansion and core markets. The future of marketing combines organizational strategies with automation and artificial intelligence, insights and data, analytics, creative, persona design, and cross-channel experience design. Ent is looking for a leader who can help us successfully launch new products, increase utilization of current products, continue to build and evolve our brand, achieve radical prioritization, design differentiating experiences for our members, and serve as a coach, mentor and "head and heart" leader to the Marketing team.

    Essential Functions

    • Strategic Development and Oversight: Design and recast Marketing's strategic and operational plans to deliver on Ent's strategic and growth objectives. Strengthen the Ent brand and grow Ent's business in all markets served. Evaluate and evolve the style and tone, and resulting creativity, of Ent's brand in a way that drives growth and deeper engagement with Ent. Develop brand messaging to convey Ent's strategy centered on differentiation, service, and exceptional value in ways that resonate with consumers in all target markets, expanding market reach. Serve as a thought leader and partner to the business, elevating Marketing's effectiveness and reputation. Seek out and define opportunities to drive long-term growth by bridging brand and product with sales and service. Enable growth by actively finding new markets for Ent's products and services and develop and foster a network of strategic partnerships that contribute to the growth of Ent.
    • Operational Excellence and Oversight: Design an operating model and governance plan to optimize Marketing processes, systems, and team performance and engagement. Design short-term and long-term business plans, which include workforce capability planning. Evaluate current marketing strategies and plans and build a roadmap to implement changes needed to ensure Ent's operational performance is balanced with strategic imperatives. Design and coordinate promotional and communication campaigns across channels. Oversee, and serve as a sponsor for, all Division activities and initiatives. Measure and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including setting key productivity indicators (KPIs). Create and manage Division budgets, including creating reliable forecasts.
    • Organizational Strategic Collaboration: Partner with other executive leaders and departments to influence and guide a unified approach to service, sales, innovation, product development, and goal realization. Partner with cross-functional teams on initiatives such as financial well-being, enabling Ent's brand to manifest from the inside out. Participate in board meetings, organizational steering committees, and other senior executive meetings. Ensure organizational alignment on priorities and plans.
    • Leadership and Team Building: Effectively develop team leaders and ensure team members receive, in a timely manner, engaging performance reviews and individual development plans. Elevate the team culture with motivating and inspiring team building and coaching. Address complaints and collaboratively solve culture issues. Provide strategic and organizational leadership in accordance with the credit union's handbook, policies, and applicable laws. Plan, assign, and oversee the team's workload. Meet regularly with team members.
    • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

    Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

    • Master's Degree in Brand, Experience Design, Marketing, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or similar field of study.
    • 10+ years' experience with Marketing, Corporate Communications, or related experience.
    • 6+ years' experience in Brand and/or Growth Strategy.
    • 8+ years' managerial experience at an executive level.
    • 4+ years' leadership experience at an executive level. Pref
    • 4+ years' experience in a large ($5B+ Asset) financial institution. Pref

    Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

    Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

    • Experience leading the marketing function in a high-growth company or during an expansion phase.
    • Strong service commitment reflected in your leadership style.
    • Well-rounded marketing knowledge and experience encompassing digital, traditional, etc.
    • Mastery of brand strategy formulation and implementation over multiple product lines.
    • Ability to determine and implement reporting of relevant key performance indicators across the business.
    • Human-centered design-centric, curious, and innovative.
    • Visionary and strategic; approachable and engaging.
    • Proficient with vendor selection and accountability procedures.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; experience communicating with stakeholders ranging from community leaders, employees and vendors to executives, the press, and boards of directors.
    • Results-driven.
    • Proven ability to act as a positive change agent for the organization.
    • Strong mentoring and team development skills.
    • Keep up to date with trends in the market and contribute to market research efforts.
    • Proven experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or in similar role.

    Additional Information

    The pay range for this position is: $325k to $375k per Year

    Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
