    Job Description

    We’re currently looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Brand Marketing to unlock our next phase of growth in the USA. This role will report into our CMO and e-commerce Lead. The ideal candidate is a team player, strategic thinker, brand builder and world-class executor, with experience in the sports and outdoor USA market and driven by making an impact.

    You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and scaling our brand marketing efforts to drive awareness, affinity and demand for our brands within our priority sport/outdoor communities in the USA. Together with your growing team and pool of agencies, you will own Brand strategy, Go-to-market, Creative, PR, Organic Social, Influencer, Experiential, Sponsorship and Shopper Marketing. 

    If you have managed sports or outdoor brands in the USA; if you have a proven track record of creating best-in-class campaigns that drive demand; if you are comfortable with change and ambiguity; if you love building things from scratch and embrace the opportunity to wear many hats, we’d love to talk.

    In this role you will: 

    • Own brand and go-to-market strategies across DTC and wholesale. 

    • Drive country-level positioning and messaging, and serve as a brand evangelist to ensure consistent brand representation across all touch points

    • Leverage customer insights and business needs to develop and execute integrated campaigns/programs (e.g. brand building, product launches, seasonal events) that drive demand across channels (DTC and wholesale) through a fully-integrated marketing mix including Digital, Social, Influencers, Partnerships, Experiential and in-store.

    • Build, manage, and mentor a team in a remote and hybrid environment, including Marketing Managers, Social media community manager and Designers.

    • Build and lead a roster of agencies (e.g. Creative, PR, Experiential, Social, Sponsorship, etc…) 

    • Collaborate with our Growth Marketing, e-commerce, wholesale, and category teams to deliver your programs. 

    • Monitor and stay current on our priority audiences, market trends and competitor activity to identify new strategies for top-of-the-funnel marketing tactics, content ideas, and brand campaigns

    • Forecast and measure your programs’ impact in partnership with Business Analysts, Growth Marketing, In-stock and Sales folks.  

    • Author multiple documents relating to your program recommendation, execution and optimization.

    • Establish the right processes to empower your team to execute and optimize flawlessly and efficiently.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

    • 15+ years of experience in consumer marketing or brand management, developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive customer demand.

    • Experience working for a sport/outdoor brand in the USA is required. 

    • 5+ years experience leading a team. 

    • Experience building brand awareness, elevating a brand’s perception, and developing positioning, messaging and campaigns.

    • Experience operating both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, and fast-growth companies.

    • Experience developing and leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, delivering measurable results, and driving brand growth.

    • Experience managing agencies, contractors, and full-time, fully remote employees with a passion for building, mentoring, and motivating inclusive teams

    • Strong budgetary management and analytical skills, proven experience analyzing marketing spend to determine ROI and inform future activities/investments

    • Dynamic and creative leader with both excellent business acumen and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills with a roll up your sleeves and can-do attitude
