    Job Description

    Decathlon is looking for a self-starter willing to take on the challenge of setting up our B2B sales channel. We are looking to expand our business model and sales penetration within the US market. The overall goal is to drive volume orders through other retailers, groups, sports clubs, 3rd party niche websites, school districts and more. 

    In this role, you must have 3 to 5 years experience in a B2B sales position. As this is a newly developed position you will focus on developing a strategy to acquire new sales opportunities and client relationships to meet short and long-term business goals. 

    Within the first month, you will be expected to travel to France and learn about key logistical systems, while organizing your target list, pipeline and logistical support. You will be working directly with an integrated worldwide supply chain spanning over 50 countries and our internal Decathlon USA supply and logistics team. 

    • Develop a business plan for a successful B2B strategy

    • Identify and drive sales opportunities to meet business goals

    • Process sales orders via phone, e-mail, social media etc.

    • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an on-going basis

    • Provide consistent customer service to retailers to achieve revenue goals and relationship growth

    • Work closely with our global supply teams to make the fulfillment possible

    Qualifications

    • Passionate and/or love to practice sports 

    • A self-starter who's autonomous yet collaborative

    • Ability and motivation to find, develop, and close sales

    • Positive hands on attitude with a desire to learn

    • 3-5 years prior experience in B2B sales

    • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills

    • Effective verbal and written communication 

    • Able to thrive and prioritize in a fast paced environment
