    Dental Office Manager – Charlotte, NC

    We are an established and growing dental practice seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee front-office operations and support a busy clinical team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient daily workflows, accurate billing and insurance processes, and a positive patient experience.

    The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing dental office operations in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Manage daily front-office operations, including patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling

    Handle incoming calls, patient inquiries, and office communications

    Verify insurance benefits prior to patient appointments and maintain accurate records

    Review treatment plans and financial estimates with patients; explain insurance coverage and anticipated out-of-pocket costs

    Submit pre-authorizations as required prior to treatment

    Prepare, review, and submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner

    Reconcile EOBs and insurance payments; post payments and write-offs correctly

    Follow up on unpaid claims, insurance denials, and outstanding patient balances

    Review daily charges to ensure accuracy between treatment plans, clinical notes, and services rendered

    Coordinate closely with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and scheduling

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years of experience in a general dentistry office

    Strong working knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processing

    Experience using Dentrix or other comparable dental practice management software

    Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

    Pay: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience
