    Job Description Summary

    This position has accountable for providing leadership, direction, and administration operations associated with patient care, clinical education, and development. This includes continuous improvement of home health services and staff to meet needs and expectations of patients. This position ensures quality and economical health care services within medical guidelines and philosophies. This Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for creating a service-oriented culture focused on employee engagement, quality care, patient safety, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient experience. This position serves as a member of the executive leadership team at the clinical level. It is crucial for the Chief Nursing Officer to maintain relationships internally and externally to ensure optimal operating effectiveness and strategic positioning.

    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

    1. Plans and coordinates with the CFO in relation to utilizing planning the budgeting for Clinical aspects.
    2. Maximizes effectiveness of funds expended from the approved company budgets.
    3. Coordinates employee work assignments, performance evaluations, and staff development to support patient care.
    4. Recommends modification, deletion, or additions of clinical personnel policies.
    5. Maintains coordination services to ensure harmony and collaboration of all disciplines by encouraging and enforcing interactive departmental meetings and discussions.
    6. Participates in the Board of Directors Meetings.
    7. Embraces and informs others about the mission, vision, ethics and goals of the company to internal and external entities.
    8. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures pertaining to clinical matters.
    9. Provides leadership, guidance and development for clinical staff through demonstrating expectations for continuous patient care improvement.
    10. Arranges process improvements focused on innovative care and operational design to improve clinical services.
    11. Suggests allocations for financial capital, informational capital, and human capital for improvement activities

    Position Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Nursing required.
    • Minimum of three to five years’ experience in patient care services management required.
    • Prior experience as a Chief Nursing Officer preferred.
    • The ability to demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationship.
