Founded by three PhD’s, their vision was to use scientific methods to address real-life business problems.
The global Telecom practice has completed pricing, marketing, sales and customer value management projects for more than 60 telecom, cable and Pay-TV clients and have worked with 10 out of the top 20 global telecom companies. Their experience covers the complete industry value chain, e.g. Service Providers (MNOs, MVNOs), Cable/ Pay-TV Providers, Wholesale, Handset manufacturers, Infrastructure vendors, VAS- and IoT-Solution-Providers.
Our client is seeking a Sr Director or Partner to join their Telecom team to help grow their Telecom practice in the US. Preferred locations are San Francisco or Houston, but other US locations are also an option. Typical candidates have 10+ years’ of total work experience in consulting with a proven ability to sell strategy work in the telecom sector.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of TMT clients, products, and project types – but your focus will be primarily building the Telecom practice vertical. You will build industry, business, and subject matter expertise through fast paced projects, working closely with Partners and your project team to leverage both strategy development and data analysis to solve our clients’ business challenges. You will have a network of support through company training, mentorship, and other initiatives.

Qualifications
>8 years post-undergrad OR MBA and >6 years of relevant experience OR Doctorate and >5 years of relevant experience with a particular focus in the telecom sector
Must haves:
Relevant value, market access, and pricing / contracting expertise for telecom and internet service providers and/or equipment manufacturers
Established track record in relevant management consulting roles
Established track record in leading delivery of complex engagements
Established track record in growing and developing teams
Established track record selling consulting services to clients
