Facility Engineer – Southwest Colorado
Salary: budget TBD, but estimated to be in the $150-180K range
Location
- Prefer role to be based locally in the greater Cortez CO area, but a 50/50 field/remote option will be considered.
The Role
- Experience with optimizing legacy infrastructure with a focus on economically and safely extending useful life.
- Identify and resolve issues that negatively impact production or contribute to inefficient LOE expenditures.
- Experience with infrastructure supporting CO2 WAG (CO2 water-alternating-gas injection enhanced oil recovery) and waterflooding operations, including recycle gas compression, dehydration, condensate extraction and water injection.
- Scope and design for expansion of existing infrastructure in support of ongoing and future capital development projects.
- Develop potential alternatives to increase operating efficiencies and simplify existing infrastructure.
- Use of effective project management skills resulting in timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Focus on increasing operational efficiency via use of SCADA and other technologies.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, guidelines and recommended practices such as ASME, NACE, API, OSHA/PSM, EPA, BLM and other organizations/agencies.
Experience
- 8+ years as a facility engineer
- BS degree in engineering (mechanical, petroleum or other pertinent engineering discipline)
