The DFM Operations intern will be part of an operations/analyst team within our Digital Freight Marketplace (DFM) department during the course of this 10-week summer experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects.  This experience will help you grow both professionally and personally.

Primary Functions:

The DFM Operations intern will work from one of our Sales Centers of Excellence (COEs) as part of the DFM team to take part in activities such as: business performance analysis, operational and customer support in the digital freight brokerage segment.  The intern will work with our DFM team to analyze the performance of individual customers, support customers’ operational needs on an exception basis, negotiate with carriers as needed, and support the DFM team to drive performance in the digital transactional market space.

• Currently pursuing a degree in business, supply chain, data science or a related field 
• High degree of problem solving skills and data/business analysis acumen 
• “Can do” and “make it happen” attitude 
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills to interact with internal and external customers 
• A high level of interest in learning and desire for coaching and willingness to learn new things and solve problems
