We conduct search assignments at the Board of Directors, C-level and functional Vice President levels. DHR's renowned consultants specialize in all industries and functions in order to provide unparalleled senior-level Executive Search, Management Assessment and Succession Planning services tailored to the unique qualities and specifications of our select client base. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:As a key member of DHR Global’s research team, the Recruiting and Research Intern will be responsible for supporting both DHR Associates and DHR Consultants. They will assist not only the Chicago office but also regional offices and their respective research teams in the development of the assignment search strategy and candidate identification. They will complete projects in a timely manner using a variety of databases to find information, including Invenias, DHR’s proprietary database. The Intern will use creativity and all available resources to successfully complete each project while gaining exposure to the executive search profession as an Associate-In-Training (AIT). Furthermore, the Intern will be charged with providing research and strategic information services in support of the firm’s highly respected practice groups. They will prepare partners for client meetings by compiling lists of companies that meet specific criteria and identifying relevant candidates with whom the partners should network. The intern will also perform duties including, but not limited to:In-depth research and analysis of companies and trends in various industries.Name generation of potential candidates via databases like LinkedIn Recruiter.Monitoring the news with an eye for relevant business information.Maintaining and updating candidate, company, and assignment information in Invenias.Assisting practice groups with identification of potential business development opportunities.Compiling information learned throughout the internship into a final deliverable for the practice group(s).EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: DHR Global is seeking an individual with a high energy level, a creative thought process and solid business skills who will thrive in this fast paced, ever-changing work environment.The Successful Candidate Will Have: Outstanding database and Internet research skills and a broad knowledge of business information sources.Experience with Microsoft Suite preferred.Experience with LinkedIn preferred.Experience working in a professional business environment.Currently attending a College or University.Strong organizational, analytical, and detailed planning and project management skills.The ability to multitask and prioritize activities in a demanding environment.Effective written and oral communications skills.Strong listening skills and an ability to interpret information.The ability to develop strong relationships to build personal networks.Experience working in a team environment, with the ability to partner with colleagues while also working independently.An optimistic, solution-oriented style.A service attitude coupled with a sense of urgency and tenacity.Strong attention to detail.Strong assessment skills.A passion for executive search.Be decisive, honest, and responsive.A persistent and creative work style.A high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.Be a proactive, self-starter and willing to take direction.
